With this degree, you might work as a Food Service Director in in commercial, non-profit, and institutional food service organizations in which you are the primary leader over the food and beverage purchasing, production, distribution. You might also manage a restaurant, hotel, spa, or casino. You may want to go into business for yourself as an event planner or a food and beverage establishment owner.
The is also available to students who are pursuing other majors but are interested in the hospitality industry.
Note: The B.S. in Hospitality Management and Culinary Arts program accepts up to 42 hours of technical credit for students who have completed an AAS degree in Hospitality or a closely related degree.
Note: Students can take up to six hours in the LU M.S. in Hospitality Management degree, during their senior year, with department approval.
