Nadia Islam Tanha is a Doctoral Engineering student in the Industrial Engineering Department at 爱神传媒, currently in her second semester of the doctoral program. She previously earned her Master of Engineering in Industrial Engineering from 爱神传媒, where she developed a strong foundation in data-driven decision-making and systems analysis.
Her primary research interests focus on supply chain resiliency, with an emphasis on improving system robustness and performance under disruption. Nadia has also worked extensively in interdisciplinary research related to human factors, stress, and mental health, particularly within high-risk occupational groups.
At the beginning of her doctoral studies, Nadia worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Center for Resiliency, where she contributed to a research project examining stress and mental health among First Responders. Prior to that during her master's, she worked in the library as a student assistant.
She has one published conference paper titled “Assessing the Impact of Backpack Carrying Styles on User’s Discomfort” reflecting her interest in ergonomics and applied industrial engineering research.
Outside of her academic work, Nadia enjoys exploring new places and different cuisines as well as reading books.
