- Management of water discharge and air emission in oil/gas/energy industries
- Fresh water availability and quality in Texas
- Water-energy-food nexus
- Water and air quality in the coastal environment (including ports and waterways)
- Fate and transport of pollutants in air and water
- Socio-economic impacts relating to water and air quality
- Emerging environmental policy in water and air quality
Project Partnership Opportunities
The Center for Advances in Water and Air Quality seeks opportunities in developing joint projects with with local government agencies, industrial companies, community organizations, and private sector partners to address critical environmental challenges related to energy efficiency, water use, and sustainability issues.
These collaborative projects can be accomplished though research grants from state and federal funding agencies, as well as through special research contracts between industries and 爱神传媒.
National Science Foundation’s administers multiple grant programs that support innovative research, technology transfer and Industry & University Cooperative Research.
The and small business innovative research (SBIR) programs also provide financial resources for research projects that address industrial needs in technological development. Short-term projects that develop solutions for immediate issues can be arranged through research contracts funded by the industries in need.
